Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider – Commercial Building (Tennant areas) – Fenchurch Street, London – up to Β£49,000 per annum.

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with either electrical or mechanical bias to be based on a commercial office building in Fenchurch Street, London. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance across the site as part of a 4 man working team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in building maintenance.

In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to Β£49,000, overtime, further training and a potential route into further career progression. The package includes:

  • A basic salary of up to Β£49,000
  • Monday to Friday – 07:00am – 16:00pm / 09:00am – 18:00pm rotating weekly
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Overtime available

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
  • Emergency lighting tests
  • Control Panels
  • Changing Ballast
  • BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
  • Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
  • Maintain and update Log books
  • Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
  • Pumps, motors
  • Water flushing / temp checks logs
  • Boosted water pumps
  • Fire damper maintenance
  • Attending Client meeting
  • General PPMs
  • Control of sub-contractors
  • Permit to work system
  • Maintaining Site logbooks

Requirements

  • Electrically or mechanically qualified – Level 2 or 3 City & Guilds – 18th Edition
  • Job logic experience (Preferred)
  • Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled
  • Good communication skills
  • Client Facing
