CBW have a new opportunity for a fully qualified and experienced Multi-Skilled Electrician to join a facilities management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a wide range of building services systems within commercial and industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems.
  • Perform emergency lighting testing and general electrical inspections.
  • Maintain and repair building services, ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently.
  • Work on a variety of systems including lighting, power, and mechanical services.
  • Follow method statements, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs in a timely manner.
  • Accurately report and document technical information and completed work.

Scope of Work Includes

  • Lighting systems and small power installations
  • Low voltage electrical distribution systems and switchgear
  • Fire alarm systems
  • Ventilation and air conditioning (A/C) systems
  • Low temperature hot water (LTHW) heating boilers and pumps
  • Domestic hot and cold water systems

Essential Requirements

  • Recognised electrical industry qualification
  • Fully qualified electrician with IEE 18th Edition certification
  • Proven experience in commercial or industrial environments
  • Experience in facilities management and general electrical maintenance
  • Strong understanding of risk assessments and safe working practices
  • Ability to follow instructions, interpret plans, and communicate effectively

  • C&G 2391 - Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations
