We’re supporting an advanced engineering and manufacturing business looking to strengthen its Supplier Quality & NPI capability as part of ongoing product and manufacturing transfer activity. This role sits within the Supplier Quality function and focuses on ensuring products are successfully introduced into production through robust manufacturing processes, supplier collaboration, and structured quality planning.
We’re keen to speak with mechanically-minded Quality or Manufacturing Engineers who understand production environments, launch support, and structured problem solving — particularly within automotive, aerospace, medical devices, industrial machinery, or other complex manufacturing sectors.
What you’ll be involved in:
- Supporting new product introduction (NPI) and production readiness activities
- Working with suppliers and internal teams to resolve manufacturing and quality issues
- Driving PFMEA, Control Plans, root cause analysis and process improvements
- Supporting APQP / PPAP activities and supplier quality validation
- Helping ensure robust manufacturing processes and successful production launch
- Cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement & Quality
We’d like to see experience in areas such as:
- Manufacturing Quality / Supplier Quality / Production Quality
- Mechanical or electromechanical manufacturing environments
- PFMEA, 8D, RCA, Control Plans, SPC
- NPI, launch support, industrialisation or process validation
- Supplier interaction and manufacturing problem solving
