Job Description

Technical Author – High-Impact Engineering Projects

Location: Middlesex

This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing Technical Publications team where you’ll research, write, and validate technical documentation used by both customers and manufacturing teams.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Create and update technical publications, build plans & acceptance test procedures
  • Work from drawings, CAD, LSA records, and real-world test data
  • Liaise with engineering, production, and support teams
  • Validate documentation using hands-on engineering equipment and tooling
  • Define illustrations in line with industry standards

What we’re looking for:

  • Skilled with FrameMaker; familiarity with SGML, XML, or DITA
  • Excellent written English, ideally with Simplified English experience
  • Hands-on understanding of mechanical engineering
  • City & Guilds 5360 or similar qualifications preferred
