We're working with a major enterprise technology programme that's looking to bring in an experienced DDI Architect / Subject Matter Expert to lead the design and delivery of large scale DNS, DHCP, and IPAM infrastructure. This is a long term rolling contract, offering a mix of strategic design work and hands on engineering in a complex, high availability environment.
The Role:
- Take ownership of DDI architecture and delivery across enterprise environments, working closely with infrastructure, network, and security teams.
- Lead large scale DDI infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and platform transformations.
- Design, deploy, and operationalise DNS, DHCP & IPAM services across new and existing environments.
- Ensure DDI platforms are scalable, resilient, and consumable for internal teams.
- Manage technical risk, downstream service impact, and operational dependencies.
- Produce technical documentation and support project governance.
- Work in an Agile delivery environment (JIRA exposure beneficial).
- Collaborate across distributed teams and stakeholders.
What They're Looking For:
- Strong background as a DDI Architect / Engineer / SME.
- Hands on experience with enterprise DDI platforms such as: Infoblox, EfficientIP, Cygna VitalQIP, F5 BIG-IP DNS.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, and DNS.
- Experience delivering infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and platform changes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have:
- Automation or scripting (Ansible, Python, Shell, APIs, JSON, etc.).
- Enterprise or regulated-environment background.
