We are a surveillance and fire control specialist providing bespoke solutions for Land and Maritime domains. By working with us, you have access to advanced technology solutions – We have three decades of experience in designing, developing and manufacturing solutions from the ground up.
You will be instrumental in the development of high-performance targeting and surveillance equipment for land and naval defence applications. We have a rapidly growing orderbook with our well-established, world-wide customer base and we are looking for talented individuals as we ramp-up to deliver these key contracts.
You will enjoy the challenges of system complexity and conflicting requirements and have a keen eye for detail. You will be given the opportunity to play a leading role in the delivery of projects with significant levels of responsibility over project risks, cost, and schedule.
Key Responsibilities – Systems Engineer
- Requirements Capture and management.
- Functional and Physical Systems Architecture Design and Definition.
- System Modelling.
- Development of Engineering Management Plans (Safety Management, Test Integration & Acceptance, Technical Risk Management).
- Gathering of verification evidence for System Requirements.
- Creation of Procurement Specifications for sub-systems and components.
- Writing test specifications
- Conducting Design reviews.
- Environmental Qualification Plans (EMC, Temperature, Shock & Vibration)
Skills & Experience – Systems Engineer
Essential
- A good degree in Engineering or physical sciences
- Minimum of 4 years’ systems engineering experience in a defence engineering (or similar) company.
- Experienced in requirements analysis and interpretation
- Familiar with the full systems engineering lifecycle
- Experienced in presenting at design reviews
- Hands on experience of systems integration/test activities and customer acceptance
