What If Your Design Could Save Lives?
You're an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer. You’ve refined CAD skills, led designs from concept to completion, and solved complex engineering challenges. But something’s missing. Impact.
This isn’t just another component design role. It’s an opportunity to contribute to mission-critical technology—used in the most extreme environments, where failure isn’t an option. The engineering needs to be flawless, robust, and life-preserving.
In this role, you’ll:
- Lead the development of complex mechanical systems—translating performance-based specs into reality.
- Carry out design trade studies, structural calculations, and FEA using tools like ANSYS, NX, and Nastran.
- Create PDI packages and high-integrity 3D models that feed seamlessly into CAM and inspection processes.
- Drive engineering excellence through design reviews, root cause analysis, DFMEAs, CE marking, and product optimisation.
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams, engage directly with end users, and support real-world trials.
You’ll be part of a long-standing engineering team whose work is quietly recognised around the world. If you’re excited by high-spec machinery, aerospace-grade tolerances, and want to be part of a company where every drawing matters, this is for you.
Who You Are:
- Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering
- Expert in 3D CAD (NX ideal), FEA tools, and design-for-manufacture principles
- Experienced in the full design lifecycle, ideally in highly regulated or safety-critical sectors
- Calm under pressure, detail-driven, and thrives in collaborative, mission-focused teams
This isn’t about volume manufacturing or minor iterations. It’s about engineering with integrity—solving puzzles few get to work on.
