We are supporting a global technology organisation who is seeking a Global Reward Director to work on a hybrid basis from the company's Reading offices. This is a high-profile leadership role and offers the opportunity to shape and deliver the organisation's global reward strategy across a complex, multinational business.
As a key member of the People Leadership Team, you will be the organisation's subject matter expert for all aspects of reward, partnering closely with the Leadership Team and Remuneration Committee. You will provide strategic leadership while retaining hands-on ownership of executive compensation, reward governance and the most complex reward initiatives.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Define and deliver the global reward strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and talent priorities.
- Lead the design and governance of global compensation, benefits, pension and recognition programmes.
- Oversee executive remuneration, including salary positioning, annual incentive arrangements and long-term incentive plans.
- Provide strategic advice and recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team and Remuneration Committee on reward matters.
- Lead global salary review and compensation planning cycles, ensuring market competitiveness and internal equity.
- Drive external benchmarking activities and use market insight to inform reward strategy and decision-making.
- Partner with Finance, Legal and senior business leaders to ensure robust governance and regulatory compliance.
- Lead, develop and mentor a team of experienced Reward professionals while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
About You:
You will have experience leading a global reward function within a large, complex multinational organisation. You will have deep technical expertise across executive compensation, compensation and benefits, pensions, incentive design and reward governance, together with a strong understanding of Remuneration Committee processes and executive remuneration best practice. You will be a commercially astute leader with the ability to influence senior executives and Board-level stakeholders through sound judgement, analytical insight and pragmatic advice.
