Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a passion for precision and continuous improvement? Ready to mentor a newly formed team and take ownership of critical design changes that keep aerospace products operational worldwide?

What You’ll Do:
- Work within a collaborative team focused on maintaining and improving existing product designs—primarily ejection seats—through engineering modifications driven by material shortages, error reports, and regulatory updates.
- Lead and mentor a growing team, guiding best practices in drawing changes and design reviews.
- Take responsibility for authorising engineering drawings, ensuring compliance with international and military standards.
- Investigate engineering issues and develop practical, commercially viable design solutions.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver reliable, safety-critical products.
- Manage workload effectively while producing detailed technical reports, calculations, and presentations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree (1st/2:1) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in high-precision engineering, ideally with exposure to materials and manufacturing processes.
- Strong knowledge of modification classifications and engineering change control.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- A mentor mindset with the ability to develop and lead a technical team.
- Committed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and collaboration.
