Join a leading defence and engineering organisation as a Senior Project Controls / Planning Professional, playing a key role in the successful delivery of complex, high-profile programmes. You’ll take ownership of project controls governance, schedule integrity, risk analysis and scenario planning across large-scale engineering projects, driving best practice and influencing decision-making at senior stakeholder level.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading project planning and controls activities across the full project lifecycle
- Managing integrated schedules and subcontractor dependencies using Primavera P6
- Conducting schedule risk analysis, critical path and “what-if” scenario planning
- Driving performance metrics, EV reporting and project review activities
- Coaching and mentoring project controls teams on best practice methodologies
- Building strong cross-functional relationships to support programme delivery
We’re looking for someone with:
- Extensive Project Controls / Planning experience on complex engineering programmes
- Expert Primavera P6 capability
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies including Agile
- Experience with schedule risk analysis, dependency management and critical path analysis
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Knowledge of Power BI, SAP Business Objects and wider reporting tools
APMG Project Controls certification and SAP Planning experience would be advantageous.
