Our client, a well established multinational fintech business is looking for a Product Manager for a 6 month contract, working on a hybrid basis in London (City). This Product Manager will drive the expansion of an Invoicing API platform, enabling merchants and partners to access scalable invoicing capabilities through APIs. The role focuses on execution, API capability development, and developer experience, in close partnership with engineering, risk, documentation, and partner teams. The Product Manager will take ownership of an active roadmap, assess gaps, prioritize work, and deliver API enhancements that unlock new merchant and partner use cases. This is a hands-on, execution-driven role suited for Product Managers who are experienced in delivering platform products in complex environments.

Responsibilities include:

  • You will own the delivery of invoicing API capabilities across an active roadmap.
  • You will define requirements, sequencing, and dependencies in close partnership with engineering teams.
  • Improve API usability, documentation, and integration experience for external developers.
  • Drive cross-functional execution across engineering, risk, analytics, and content teams.
  • Use data and feedback to prioritize work and measure adoption, reliability, and impact.

To succeed in this role:

  • You will be an experienced Product Manager within fintech, SaaS, commerce platforms, or payments ecosystems.
  • You will have a strong background in working with invoicing products and solid experience with APIs, platforms or developer facing products.
  • You will have direct experience building products used by external developers, partners, or enterprise merchants.
  • You will have hands-on experience improving developer onboarding, API docs, and integration workflows.
  • You will have a strong grasp on working with engineering teams on technical topics (APIs, system design, dependencies).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams is needed for this role.
