Business Development Manager +12 months ++Hybrid - London+Inside IR35+600 - 650 a day We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth within a major energy-sector client account.
The successful candidate will bring a strong, established network and the credibility to engage senior stakeholders, open doors and create meaningful business opportunities.
This is a relationship-led role focused on strengthening senior relationships, identifying new opportunities and expanding the organisation's footprint across the account.
The ideal candidate will be highly connected, commercially minded and confident navigating a complex enterprise organisation.
Key Responsibilities Leverage an established network to identify and unlock new business opportunities.
Build trusted relationships with senior executives, decision makers and key influencers.
Facilitate senior-level introductions between client stakeholders and internal leadership, delivery teams and SMEs.
Identify opportunities to expand the organisation's footprint across existing and new areas.
Develop a strong understanding of the client's strategic priorities, challenges and investment areas.
Navigate complex organisational structures to identify influencers, sponsors and decision makers.
Work closely with sales, account leadership and delivery teams to execute account growth plans.
Develop opportunities from initial engagement through to qualified pipeline.
Provide market and account intelligence to anticipate future client requirements.
Position the organisation as a trusted strategic partner and increase awareness of its capabilities.
Essential Skills & Experience Established senior network within a major enterprise or energy-sector organisation.
Proven ability to engage and influence C-suite and senior-level stakeholders.
Strong track record in business development, account growth and relationship-led selling.
Experience expanding an organisation's footprint within a major strategic account.
Strong understanding of complex organisational structures and decision-making processes.
Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to align client challenges with relevant solutions and capabilities.
Confident executive-level communicator with strong influencing skills.
Ability to mobilise internal leadership, delivery teams and subject matter experts around opportunities.
Strong knowledge of the energy sector, including technology, transformation and business priorities.
Proactive, entrepreneurial and results-focused, with a clear track record of building pipeline and generating revenue.
