My client is seeking an experienced Digital Solutions Architect to join their team. This consultant will work closely with IT Design Team and Head of IT Security in order to support digital architecture demands whilst maintaining the integrity and security of DL IT landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Owning the design blueprints for the whole digital landscape, from end to end: apps, data, infrastructure and security
- Chairing the monthly Digital Architecture Review Board and representing Digital at CAB
- Working closely with product PODs (BA, PO, PM), third-party vendor architects, IT Security and the Data Architect
- Shaping the digital technology roadmap with the Director of Digital Engineering
- Building security by design and PCI/data protection compliance into every solution
What We're Looking For
- Ability to work in a multi-speed organisation, and coordinate the different moving parts required to deliver new functionality
- Experience in dealing with and prioritising the requests of multiple stakeholders
- Experience overseeing modern development processes, including Native mobile app development, Back-end microservices development (Java, NodeJS), IaC approaches to infrastructure provisioning (Terraform/Terraform Cloud)
- Systems design/architecture experience, particularly in modernisation/Digital Transformation projects
- Diverse solutions architecture experience covering modern cloud infrastructure, modern technology & legacy systems
- Background in dev ops, engineering, infrastructure AS code
- Degree in Computer Science or a technology-related field
- Experienced in applying commercial judgement to ensure recommendations are in line with budgets
- Comfortable with documenting and communicating the model used to understand the enterprise, system, application, and network through a series of viewpoints
- Strong influencing and engagement skills
- Skills in presentation, communication, facilitation
- Adept at working collaboratively both within the Digital & IT functions and across the broader business teams as well as with a diverse set of 3rd party vendors
