My client is seeking a Senior RF Engineer who will be responsible for significant work packages of RF/Microwave module development, test, and support as well as antenna design, modelling, and requirements. They support other areas of the business with RF/antenna design expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively lead antenna and RF equipment development, via internal or sub-contracted work packages.
- Maintain antenna and RF designs β e.g., for product improvements and obsolescence.
- Oversee derivation of requirements and specifications and their verification.
- Knowledge of High Power RF amplifier, Low Noise Amplifiers, Limiters, Circulators, Filters, Mixers and Phase Locked Loop usage.
- Familiarity with RF test equipment (e.g. Spectrum Analysers, Vector Network Analysers).
- Antenna theory and design and test including array antennas, including slotted array and printed antennas.
- Design for test and design for manufacture.
- Experience of a Production Environment (e.g. good understanding of processes such as SMT).
- Self-motivated and enjoys working within a team.
- Good command of written and verbal English.
