Position Overview
My client is looking for a Digital Electronics Engineer to lead the design and delivery of advanced electronics for laboratory and aircraft sensor/communications systems. This is a broad role covering the full product lifecycle from concept and development through early-life production and in-service support with a primary focus on high-speed digital processing electronics and support to RF/analogue power circuitry.
Key Responsibilities
- Knowledge and experience of product development lifecycles within a technology or defence related business.
- Practical hands-on experience of high-speed digital hardware circuit design, including schematic entry, component selection and generation of supporting design documentation.
- Experience of PCB prototyping, commissioning and fault-finding using electronic test and measurement equipment within an engineering laboratory environment.
- Experience of working with PCB layout personnel in an advisory capacity.
- Working knowledge of signal.
