A well-established, growing business within the motorsport energy sector are looking to appoint a Transport Supervisor on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with logistics or commercial operations experience to take ownership of day-to-day transport coordination, ensuring products are delivered safely, compliantly and on time.
The Role:
- Manage daily logistics schedules (goods in & goods out)
- Coordinate closely with commercial, procurement and production teams
- Oversee third-party logistics providers
- Ensure compliance with ADR / IMDG / IATA regulations
- Maintain accurate transport and customs documentation
- Communicate with UK and international customers
- Monitor freight rates and support commercial operations
About You:
- 2+ years’ experience in a logistics or commercial environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Confident communicator with customer/supplier-facing experience
- Import/export or customs knowledge desirable (not essential)
- Comfortable working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- ERP/CRM experience advantageous
Package:
- Circa £37,500 salary
- 10% discretionary bonus (paid in January, pro rata)
