What you’ll be doing:

  • Selecting, installing, calibrating and maintaining instrumentation systems
  • Working with data acquisition and signal conditioning equipment
  • Setting up and analysing data from accelerometers, load cells, transducers and other sensors
  • Supporting complex test programmes from preparation through to data analysis
  • Designing, building and testing specialist electronic circuits and control systems
  • Fault‑finding and resolving issues across instrumentation and test equipment
  • Driving continuous improvement activities within the test environment
  • Mentoring and supporting junior technicians within the team

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong instrumentation or test engineering experience
  • Hands‑on experience with data acquisition systems (Dewesoft, DTS, NI, HBM or similar)
  • Proven fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience working within aerospace, defence, automotive, motorsport, rail, marine or other highly regulated engineering environments
  • A practical, methodical approach with a passion for testing and continuous improvement
