What you’ll be doing:
- Selecting, installing, calibrating and maintaining instrumentation systems
- Working with data acquisition and signal conditioning equipment
- Setting up and analysing data from accelerometers, load cells, transducers and other sensors
- Supporting complex test programmes from preparation through to data analysis
- Designing, building and testing specialist electronic circuits and control systems
- Fault‑finding and resolving issues across instrumentation and test equipment
- Driving continuous improvement activities within the test environment
- Mentoring and supporting junior technicians within the team
What we’re looking for:
- Strong instrumentation or test engineering experience
- Hands‑on experience with data acquisition systems (Dewesoft, DTS, NI, HBM or similar)
- Proven fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
- Experience working within aerospace, defence, automotive, motorsport, rail, marine or other highly regulated engineering environments
- A practical, methodical approach with a passion for testing and continuous improvement
