Casting Technician - Engineering Grads Considered Launch Your Engineering Career in Advanced Manufacturing Β£25,000 - Β£30,000 basic + shift allowance + excellent bens.

Shift work – Weds to Sat, 6am – 3pm (37hr week) We're looking for a bright, ambitious Engineering or Chemistry graduate who wants to apply their technical knowledge to real-world manufacturing challenges.

This is an opportunity to join a highly specialised engineering environment where you'll develop expertise in advanced materials, manufacturing processes, process improvement, and product development.

Working alongside experienced engineers and technical specialists, you'll play a key role in supporting production, solving complex technical problems, and helping shape future manufacturing technologies.

What You'll Be Doing Supporting the manufacture of technically advanced products within a highly regulated environment.

Investigating process issues and identifying practical engineering solutions.

Analysing manufacturing data to improve quality, efficiency, and performance.

Working on process improvement and continuous improvement projects.

Developing expertise in materials, manufacturing methods, and production technologies.

Collaborating with engineers, production teams, and technical specialists across the business.

Producing technical reports, presentations, and recommendations.

Supporting research and development activities for future products and processes.

Contributing to safety, quality, and compliance activities.

What We're Looking For Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Manufacturing, or a related STEM discipline.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with a range of stakeholders.

A genuine interest in engineering, manufacturing, and technology.

Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively within a team.

Bonus Points If You Have Placement year, internship, laboratory, or manufacturing experience.

Exposure to process improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous improvement techniques.

Experience analysing data and producing technical reports.

Knowledge of health, safety, or quality management systems.
