We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead the delivery of industrial process cooling projects from design through to installation, commissioning, and handover. This role combines technical expertise with strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple process cooling projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, schedules, and risk registers.
- Provide technical support during design, installation, and commissioning phases.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards, quality requirements, and project documentation procedures.
Requirements
- Engineering qualification and proven project management experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering industrial engineering or process-related projects.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, controls, and systems integration principles.
- Experience managing subcontractors, site activities, and customer relationships.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites across the UK.
Desirable
- Experience within process cooling, refrigeration, HVAC, manufacturing, or industrial engineering environments.
- Formal Project Management qualification.
- Health & Safety qualification or relevant industry experience.
- Experience using Microsoft Project and ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics.
- Membership of a professional engineering or project management body.
