RF Antenna Engineer (Radio Frequency) – Mobile Communication Antennas

Are you an RF Engineer with a passion for mobile communication systems and antenna technology? Do you want to be part of a technical team that designs cutting-edge RF antenna products used across global industries? We’re working with a market-leading UK manufacturer known for developing bespoke and high-volume RF antenna solutions across key sectors such as public safety, utilities, transportation, defence and industrial wireless.

As an RF Engineer, you’ll play a hands-on role in developing and improving antenna products, conducting chamber measurements, simulating performance in CST Microwave Studio, and collaborating cross-functionally with R&D, production, sales, and quality teams.

What you'll be doing:

  • Designing and enhancing RF antennas used in mobile communications (not radar or satellite)
  • Using anechoic chambers to measure and characterise antenna performance
  • Simulating in CST Microwave Studio and analysing results
  • Supporting compliance testing and helping draft patent applications
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams on customer support and technical documentation

What we're looking for:

  • A relevant degree in RF or electrical engineering
  • 5+ years in RF antenna or wireless communications engineering
  • Knowledge of mobile communications (cellular, TETRA, ISM, etc.)
  • A commercially aware, detail-driven mindset with a passion for technology
