The Role
As a Service Desk Engineer, you will provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for specialist Electronic Warfare systems, taking ownership of incidents from initial diagnosis through to resolution. This is a hands‑on technical position where you will be expected to troubleshoot and resolve issues directly rather than simply escalating tickets. You will work closely with MOD customers, internal engineering teams, and external suppliers to ensure systems remain fully operational.

- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and system‑related faults
- Deliver L1/L2 support for advanced Electronic Warfare products
- Manage incidents, service requests, and problem investigations using ITSM tools
- Monitor system performance and coordinate escalations when required
- Produce customer updates, service reports, and trend analysis
- Create and maintain knowledge base documentation
- Support change, release, and deployment processes
- Work closely with Engineering, QA, Logistics, Compliance, and MOD stakeholders
