We are looking for a
Production Planner to take ownership of short- and medium-term production planning and scheduling, ensuring manufacturing activity is effectively planned and production targets are achieved.
The role
- Develop and manage production plans and schedules across multiple manufacturing processes.
- Monitor production progress, capacity and constraints, proactively addressing potential delays.
- Work closely with Production, Procurement, Materials, Quality and Engineering teams.
- Use
MRP/ERP systems to ensure materials and components are available to support production.
- Maintain accurate planning data, BOMs, lead times and stock requirements.
- Monitor planning KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Take ownership of planning issues and drive solutions through to resolution.
We're looking for
- Proven
Production Planning / Production Scheduling experience within manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity and production constraints.
- Experience with
- MRP/ERP systems
- SAP would be advantageous.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
Leadership or supervisory experience is desirable , but we are also interested in experienced planners with clear leadership potential and aspirations to progress.
