About the Role: We are currently looking for a skilled BMS Commissioning Engineer to support a range of high-profile building automation projects across London. This is a contract role offering competitive day rates and a steady pipeline of work with a forward-thinking, well-established organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commissioning BMS systems (Trend, Tridium, Siemens, or similar) on commercial and mixed-use developments
- Carrying out full point-to-point testing, system functionality checks, and control strategy validation
- Identifying and resolving commissioning issues, ensuring smooth project delivery
- Working alongside project managers, control panel engineers, and site teams to meet tight deadlines
- Producing accurate commissioning documentation and supporting project handover
- Providing on-site technical support and feedback to improve project outcomes
What You'll Need:
- Proven experience commissioning BMS systems in a fast-paced, site-based environment
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and building services
- Familiarity with at least one major BMS platform - Trend, Tridium, Siemens, Schneider, etc.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on busy construction sites
- Valid CSCS/ECS card and relevant commissioning qualifications (e.g., Trend SET, Niagara N4)
- Own tools, laptop, and vehicle preferred
