BMS Commissioning Engineer – Contract
Location: London (projects across Greater London and surrounding areas)
Rate: £300 – £400 per day (outside IR35)

About the Role:
We\’re currently looking for a skilled BMS Commissioning Engineer to support a range of high-profile building automation projects across London. This is a contract role offering competitive day rates and a steady pipeline of work with a forward-thinking, well-established organisation.
Key Responsibilities:

Commissioning BMS systems (Trend, Tridium, Siemens, or similar) on commercial and mixed-use developments

Carrying out full point-to-point testing, system functionality checks, and control strategy validation

Identifying and resolving commissioning issues, ensuring smooth project delivery

Working alongside project managers, control panel engineers, and site teams to meet tight deadlines

Producing accurate commissioning documentation and supporting project handover

Providing on-site technical support and feedback to improve project outcomes
What You\’ll Need:

Proven experience commissioning BMS systems in a fast-paced, site-based environment

Strong understanding of HVAC systems and building services

Familiarity with at least one major BMS platform – Trend, Tridium, Siemens, Schneider, etc.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on busy construction sites

Valid CSCS/ECS card and relevant commissioning qualifications (e.g., Trend SET, Niagara N4)
