We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Compliance Manager (UK) for a 6 month contract working on a remote working basis. You will take full ownership of governance and regulatory reporting within a dynamic, regulated fintech business. This is a high-impact role within the second line of defence, with ownership of UK entity compliance oversight and reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the UK Risk & Compliance Committee (agenda, materials, actions)
- Own regulatory reporting & notifications (incl. complaints, fraud, incidents, returns)
- Design and deliver a robust, risk-based compliance monitoring programme
- Oversee governance frameworks, MI, and escalation pathways
- Provide independent challenge to the first line and support remediation efforts
- Advise on UK regulatory requirements (FCA Handbook etc)
- Deliver clear reporting to senior stakeholders and present at governance forums
About you: You will have ideally worked in the payments sector. You will be an experienced compliance professional within UK regulated financial services and you will have a strong working knowledge of the UK regulatory framework. You will have proven experience running committees and setting up and operating compliance monitoring and testing programmes. Strong knowledge of FCA requirements and regulatory reporting is essential.
