Job Title: Programme Manager Rate: Β£460 per day inside ir35 Location: Sheffield/Hybrid (3 days per week on site) Contract: 6 months rolling Lead strategic transformation. Own delivery. We're looking for an experienced Programme Manager to take the lead on complex, high-profile programmes within a leading global bank, one of the world's leading financial institutions.
This is a high-visibility role for someone who thrives in complex, regulated enterprise environments, bringing together multiple projects, teams and stakeholders to deliver meaningful business outcomes. The opportunity You'll take end-to-end ownership of strategic programmes, driving delivery from initiation through to completion while managing multiple interconnected workstreams.
You'll be responsible for: Leading complex, business-critical programmes across multiple workstreams Owning programme plans, roadmaps, milestones, budgets and benefits Establishing strong governance, reporting and escalation frameworks Managing programme-level risks, issues, dependencies and change Leading cross-functional teams across business and technology Engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, executives and steering committees Managing budgets, forecasts, resources and financial controls Driving business readiness, transition and benefits realisation Ensuring delivery meets governance, regulatory and organisational requirements What we're looking for You'll need a strong track record delivering complex programmes within large enterprise environments, ideally across banking, financial services or another highly regulated sector.
We're particularly interested in candidates with experience across: Digital transformation Technology, data or infrastructure programmes Operational resilience Risk and regulatory change Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery Executive-level stakeholder management Programme governance and financial management Tools including Jira, Confluence, MS Project or Azure DevOps MSP, PRINCE2, PMP, SAFe or equivalent certification would be advantageous.
