Requirements
- Active SC Clearance is required for this role.
- Experience within defence, aerospace, MOD, government, or other secure environments.
- Experience supporting Windows Server and/or Linux platforms.
- Understanding of cloud technologies, ideally Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Exposure to VMware, Hyper-V, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or container technologies.
- Interest in automation, DevOps practices, and modern platform engineering.
Responsibilities
- Support secure cloud and on-premises infrastructure environments.
- Assist with Microsoft Azure administration and cloud platform operations.
- Maintain Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Support virtualisation platforms and enterprise hosting solutions.
- Work with Kubernetes and OpenShift container platforms.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and resilience.
- Support incident management, troubleshooting, and service improvements.
- Contribute to automation and Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or PowerShell.
- Support secure infrastructure changes, documentation, and operational processes.
