We are looking for two experienced Business Analysts to join a high-profile UK Government digital transformation programme focused on modernising a legacy application and delivering a scalable, cloud-based solution used across multiple agencies.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst with strong Agile delivery, process analysis and requirements management experience to work within multidisciplinary teams and contribute to a programme with a significant public protection focus.

The Role

You will work closely with Product Managers, Architects, Developers, Testers, UCD specialists and government stakeholders, taking ownership of defined business themes from initial discovery through to delivery.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing as-is and to-be business processes and creating process maps.
  • Eliciting and documenting business, user and data requirements.
  • Writing clear user stories and testable acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitating workshops and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Working closely with UCD teams to ensure solutions meet user and business needs.
  • Collaborating with Architects around interfaces and data requirements.
  • Supporting Developers and Testers throughout delivery.
  • Identifying risks, issues, dependencies and requirements gaps.
  • Maintaining high-quality BA documentation and delivery artefacts.

About You

We're looking for a proven Business Analyst with:

  • Strong commercial Business Analysis experience.
  • Experience working within an Agile product development environment.
  • Excellent requirements elicitation, process mapping and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience producing user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Experience working across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Active SC clearance.
  • Ability to obtain NPPV3 clearance.

Experience within UK Government, public sector or the Criminal Justice System would be highly desirable. Knowledge of MAPPA, AWS or cloud technologies would also be beneficial.
