We're seeking a talented Scala Engineer to join a high-performing Agile team delivering modern cloud-based services as part of a major government digital programme. You'll be helping to build secure, scalable applications that improve the way millions of people interact with essential public services. The Role
As a Scala Engineer, you'll be part of a multidisciplinary Agile team responsible for designing, developing and supporting high-performance Scala Play microservices. Working closely with Developers, Business Analysts, User Researchers, Designers and QA Engineers, you'll help deliver user-focused digital services using modern software engineering practices including Test Driven Development (TDD), pair programming and continuous integration. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to technical decisions, share knowledge across engineering communities and help shape the future of the platform.
Key Responsibilities
