Are you an experienced Systems Engineer looking to work on complex, cutting-edge defence technology? We are looking for a technically driven engineer to play a key role in the design, development and delivery of advanced systems supporting critical defence capabilities. This is an opportunity to work across the full engineering lifecycle, from early-stage research and concept development through to product delivery and in-service support, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on innovative projects involving RF communications and sensors.
You will provide technical leadership across a range of programmes, acting as a System Design Authority and ensuring solutions are delivered to the highest technical standards. You will be responsible for:
- Leading system design activities across the full engineering lifecycle.
- Providing technical leadership to multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Developing innovative solutions from concept through to delivery.
- Working closely with customers to understand requirements and shape technical solutions.
- Supporting bids, research activities and technology development programmes.
- Managing technical risks and ensuring projects meet performance standards.
