I'm looking for a Senior Technical Architect - Cloud & Microservices to join a major technology programme, working at the heart of the architecture and design function. This is a role for someone who can operate at architectural level but isn't afraid to get hands-on when required.
Responsibilities
- You'll act as the key point of contact for technical and software architecture, making critical design decisions and ensuring solutions are robust, scalable and built for the long term.
- Defining and designing software solutions with a focus on stability, scalability, maintainability and performance.
- Developing architectural views and defining how software components interact.
- Ensuring solutions align with the longer-term technical strategy and wider architecture.
- Supporting solutions throughout construction and working closely with development teams.
- Providing technical direction and guidance to architects, developers and managers.
- Championing architectural standards and ensuring teams adhere to agreed designs.
- Maintaining key architectural documentation and communicating changes effectively.
