Leaders in high-performance technology, providing innovative solutions for space, healthcare, defence, and industrial applications are seeking a Quality Engineer on a FTC.

Key Accountabilities – Quality Engineer

1. Support Inspection for Incoming components to ensure that quality standards are maintained.
2. Non-Conformance Management and Improvement Activity.
3. Leading investigations on both internal issues and customer complaints/returns.
4. Support customer meetings alongside Product Engineering.
5. Performing Internal Audits in order to ensure that business processes are effective.
6. Support Audit activity for annual ISO9001 audits.
7. Quality approval of Delivery Review Boards.
8. Attendance of the Change Control Boards.
9. Approval of Change requests.
10. Process Release oversight and approval.
11. Carrying out Electro Static Discharge and Code of Practice Training.
12. Review, approval and closure management of Permits and concessions.

Skills and Knowledge Required – Quality Engineer

1. Higher technical education, ie HNC or above.
2. Quality related work experience in a manufacturing company.
3. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
4. Knowledge of ISO 9001.
5. Lean Six Sigma.
6. 8D problem solving.
