Production Assembler – Poole, Dorset
Hours: 37.5 per week
6 months contract
£15-18ph
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Assembler to join our team in Poole. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on assembly experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, structured environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble fabricated parts at designated floor stations using hand and power tools.
- Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to ensure they meet tolerances and product specifications.
- Identify and repair units that fail tests or do not meet tolerance levels.
- Follow established instructions, guidelines, and safety procedures to perform all tasks efficiently.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in assembly or a related production environment is preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and work under immediate supervision.
- Knowledge of common assembly tools and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Desirable:
- Completion of an apprenticeship or formal training in a related field.
- Proven capabilities in assembly, calibration, or production testing.
