6-Month Initial Contract | Inside IR35 | PAYE via Umbrella

Rate: Β£500-Β£550 per day inside IR35
We're looking for an experienced O365 / MDM Senior Engineer to join a major UK technology programme, supporting enterprise collaboration, endpoint management and modern workplace services. This is a hands-on senior engineering role covering Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure and end-user environments, with the opportunity to contribute to infrastructure projects, automation and service improvement.
The Role
- Monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting enterprise systems, resolving incidents and service requests
- Supporting the O365 and MDM teams in delivering BAU services and SLA commitments
- Managing and scheduling technical project activities, working closely with Project Managers to deliver planned outcomes
- Automating repetitive tasks to improve efficiency, reliability and reduce manual error
- Producing high-quality technical documentation, including HLDs and service/toolset configuration documentation
- Taking a lead role in new IT infrastructure and modern workplace projects
- Sharing technical knowledge and best practice across client environments
- Providing senior-level technical support across collaborative systems, applications and standard operating environments

- End-user computing and desktop support
- Microsoft Office applications
- SharePoint
- Microsoft Teams
- Enterprise mobile/device management
- Smartphone and handset configuration and management
- Enterprise smart-device platforms, including BlackBerry UEM and Android
- Automation and infrastructure support
- Technical documentation and HLDs
- Skype Federation experience is desirable but not essential.

- Duration: 6 months initially
- Location: Manchester
- Working Pattern: 5 days onsite per week
- IR35: Inside IR35
- Payment: PAYE through an approved umbrella company
- Rate: Β£500-Β£550 per day inside IR35
