We re supporting a leading advanced engineering and manufacturing organisation developing complex, safety-critical products.
As the business continues to invest in new technologies and manufacturing capability, we re looking for an NPI Quality Engineer or Senior NPI Quality Engineer to play a key role in ensuring quality is built into every stage of product development.
This is an opportunity to influence how new products are designed, validated and introduced into manufacture, working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing and Project teams from concept through to production.
The Role You ll be responsible for embedding quality throughout the New Product Introduction process, ensuring robust planning, risk management and governance while driving a right-first-time culture.
Responsibilities include: Supporting New Product Introduction from design through to production handover Applying quality planning tools including APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, FAIRs and Control Plans Supporting prototype manufacture, verification and validation activities Leading root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives Ensuring manufacturing readiness through effective quality planning Developing KPIs and reporting on NPI quality per...
