You will join a global defence technology company working within an Agile Scrum team on innovative solutions in the Geospatial domain. The role is more than a tester. The Engineer will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, helping shape the quality of complex, real-world, cloud-based systems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure software quality at every step.
- Task estimation in accordance with sprint planning.
- Design of tests within an agile environment using a test management tool. We use the Xray Test Management application for Jira.
- Designing and executing automated and exploratory tests, particularly in RESTful API environments.
- Contributing towards researching, evaluating and managing test automation frameworks.
Your skills and experience:
- Agile development experience
- Ability to support the Product Owner in defining acceptance criteria for user stories
- Testing REST Architecture using Postman or Bruno
- Ability to self-motivate and to work well within a team environment.
- Ability to promote innovation in self and others
- Ability to interact with internal & external stakeholders in a confident and professional manner
- Ability to deliver to quality, cost and schedule
- Good attention to detail
