Requirements

  • Strong experience with Cisco, Juniper and Fortinet technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of routing and switching, including BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, VPC/LACP and QoS.
  • Experience with Cisco ACI, including spine/leaf, tenants, VRFs, BDs, EPGs and contracts.
  • Experience in network security, including NGFWs, IPsec, SSL VPN and SD-WAN security.
  • Experience with F5 BIG-IP, L4/L7 load balancing, SSL offloading and GSLB.
  • Experience with data centre networking and high-availability architectures.
  • Network automation experience using Python, Ansible or network APIs is desirable.
  • SC cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Take a technical lead role in the design, implementation and delivery of complex multi-vendor network and security solutions.
  • Lead the design and implementation of complex network and security solutions.
  • Produce HLDs, LLDs, implementation plans and operational runbooks.
  • Configure and troubleshoot enterprise and service-provider network infrastructure.
  • Provide technical leadership and act as a senior escalation point.
  • Work with customers, architects, project teams and vendors to deliver solutions.
  • Lead technical discussions and present solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Mentor and support other engineers.
  • Conduct design validation, testing and technical assessments.
