Our client, a Top 50 Accountancy Practice is seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team in their offices in Winchester. This is a full time opportunity but part-time candidates are also welcome to apply. This is a new role that has been created to manage the financial reporting, management accounts preparation and day-to-day financial operations of several companies within the Group of companies. Responsibilities will include: Recording and posting day-to-day financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts and payments Preparing VAT returns Reconciling bank statements, credit card accounts and other financial accounts Supporting with budgeting and forecasting Managing the accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, preparing payments and maintaining supplier records Balance sheet management and reconciliation Producing draft financial statements Working with the finance team on projectsAbout you: You will have UK experience in either practice or industry and you will be part way through studying towards an ACCA or CA or, at least AAT qualified, and you will have strong interpersonal skills, excellent attention to detail and English and Maths GCSE or equivalent.
