HGV fitter/mechanic required for a long‐term contract at our client's workshop in Richmond. Immediate start.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance and repairs on vans/HGVs and mini buses
- Conduct routine safety inspections on HGVs in line with DVSA standards
- Prepare HGVs for their annual MOT
- Complete detailed maintenance inspection reports in line with DVSA regulations
Qualifications and Skills
- Knowledge of both petrol and diesel engines is an advantage
- Experience using engine diagnostic equipment is an advantage
- Class 4 and 7 MOT qualification not essential but an advantage
- Clean driving licence with Category C (HGV entitlement)
Hours and Location
07:30-16:30 Mon – Fri (40 hours per week, 1 hour lunch break). Located in Richmond.
