PMO Assurance Manager in Leeds

PMO Assurance Manager + 3 month initial contract + £600 to £640 per day - Inside IR35 + Remote working - ocasional site visits in Leeds PMO Assurance Manager We're looking for an experienced PMO Assurance Manager to provide governance, assurance and oversight across a portfolio of technology projects. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered consistently, risks are managed proactively, and governance standards are embedded across the delivery lifecycle. Key responsibilities Provide portfolio-level assurance, oversight and reporting across technology delivery. Champion the technology delivery and governance framework, ensuring consistent ways of working. Monitor project health, identify risks, dependencies and delivery trends, and provide actionable insights. Lead governance forums, project health checks and assurance reviews. Produce high-quality portfolio reporting for senior leadership, highlighting performance, risks and opportunities. Partner with Delivery, Finance and Strategy teams to improve portfolio performance and benefits realisation. Lead, coach and develop the PMO team while driving a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.About you Significant experience in PMO leadership within large-scale technology or transformation programmes. Strong background in project governance, portfolio assurance and executive reporting. Skilled at influencing senior stakeholders and driving delivery excellence. Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence) and Microsoft Project. Excellent analytical, communication and leadership skills with a passion for continuous improvement
