An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Biomedical Engineer to join a growing team at a busy hospital site in central London. This permanent, site-based position offers hands-on experience servicing and repairing a wide range of general biomedical equipment, making it an ideal role for someone looking to develop their medical engineering career in a clinical environment.
The Role
You\’ll be responsible for:
Performing preventative maintenance (PPM) and repairs on general medical devices
Carrying out electrical safety testing (EST) to required standards
Ensuring documentation and administrative tasks are completed to high standards
Providing responsive support to clinical teams and maintaining strong customer relationships
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Requirements
Prior engineering experience working in a UK clinical or medical engineering environment
Hands-on knowledge of basic biomed equipment (e.g. infusion pumps, BP machines, patient monitors, ECGs, diathermies etc.)
Excellent communication and customer service skills Salary & Benefits
£27,000 base + £5,000 London Weighting = £32,000 total
25 days annual leave + bank holidays

All applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not offered. Those on visas will be considered but upon expiration must be able to extend this visa/secure further right to work. Location
