We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Automation Engineer to support the design, development and delivery of automation solutions for the NSoIT(D) platform. You'll focus on building robust, scalable automation using Python3, Ansible and Bash, working across complex infrastructure and hardware environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain zero-touch infrastructure automation.
- Reverse engineer legacy/manual builds into fully automated deployments.
- Develop production-grade code using Python3, Ansible, Bash.
- Use Git / Bitbucket for version control and peer reviews.
- Produce technical documentation and design artefacts.
- Support system testing and resolve service issues.
- Work within an Agile delivery environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 12 months hands-on experience (last 3 years) in:
- Python3 automation development
- Configuration management (Ansible, Puppet or Chef)
- Bash scripting
- Automated deployment of server, network and storage platforms
- Large-scale infrastructure environments
- Troubleshooting hardware/software faults
- Agile delivery
