About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Architect to lead the technical architecture and design phase of a major project. You will work closely with key stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into a robust, scalable, and secure target architecture. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership throughout the design process, produce high-quality architecture documentation, and ensure solutions are aligned with technical standards and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical architecture and design workshops with stakeholders to validate and finalise requirements emerging from the discovery phase.
  • Define and finalise the target architecture, system landscape, and integration approach.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive High-Level Design (HLD) documentation covering:
    • Application architecture
    • Infrastructure
    • Security
    • Networking
    • Integrations
    • Data flows
  • Assess current-state architecture and identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and migration considerations.
  • Define and incorporate non-functional requirements (NFRs) including availability, scalability, performance, security, and disaster recovery.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, application, security, and integration teams to ensure architecture decisions align with technical standards and best practice.
  • Review and validate solution designs against established technical architecture guidelines.
  • Provide technical leadership, architecture recommendations, and effort estimates to support project planning and implementation.
  • Present HLD documentation to stakeholders, address feedback, and secure architecture sign-off.
  • Support the transition from design into build and implementation, ensuring architecture requirements are clearly communicated to delivery teams.
