HGV fitter/mechanic required for a long-term contract at our client’s workshop in Richmond. Immediate start.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and repairs on vans/HGVs and mini buses
  • Conduct routine safety inspections on HGVs in line with DVSA standards
  • Prepare HGVs for their annual MOT
  • Complete detailed maintenance inspection reports in line with DVSA regulations

Qualifications and Skills

  • Knowledge of both petrol and diesel engines is an advantage
  • Experience using engine diagnostic equipment is an advantage
  • Class 4 and 7 MOT qualification not essential but an advantage
  • Clean driving licence with Category C (HGV entitlement)

Hours and Location

  • 07:30-16:30 Mon – Fri (40 hours per week, 1 hour lunch break)
  • Located in Richmond
