We are recruiting a Field Service Engineer to support advanced defence technology across secure customer sites throughout the UK for a client who is a leading tech and engineering firm operating within defence. This isn’t a desk-based support role. You will be out with customers maintaining critical systems, supporting military exercises, carrying out technology upgrades, diagnosing complex faults and ensuring operational capability is always maintained.
Whether your experience comes from deployed operations, secure headquarters, NATO exercises or supporting classified infrastructure, your background is highly relevant.
Responsibilities:
- Support mission-critical systems across secure defence sites
- Carry out planned maintenance, firmware updates and infrastructure upgrades
- Diagnose and repair hardware faults through structured root cause analysis
- Install and configure servers, network infrastructure and virtual environments
- Support military exercises and ensure operational readiness
