Field Service Engineer – Medical Sterilisation Equipment

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team, providing expert installation, service, repair, and maintenance on state-of-the-art medical sterilisation equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone based in the GL and HR postcodes to work with a leading company at the forefront of medical technology design and manufacturing.
It is essential you live in the GL or HR postcode areas to be considered for this role; applicants outside will not be considered. Your territory will cover GL, HR, NP, and part of SY.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and reactive maintenance on a diverse range of sterilisation equipment including autoclaves, RO units, ultrasonic cleaners, washer disinfectors, etc.
- Perform equipment installations, calibrations, and repairs at client sites.
- Provide technical support and training to customers to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards within the medical field.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues efficiently and professionally.
- Keep accurate records of service activities and report any findings to the relevant teams.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Service Engineer, with an electro-mechanical engineering fault finding and repair background.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Full UK driving license (as this is a field-based role).
- DBS clearable.
- Willingness to undergo additional training where necessary.
