Role Description: We are seeking a SilverFort Subject Matter Expert to own, operate and continuously enhance SilverFort as a core Barclays service, delivering a unified identity and access management platform across the organisation. This role will act as the primary technical authority for SilverFort, responsible for its architecture, policy design, integration with wider identity, security and infrastructure services, and overall service maturity.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for owning, operating and continuously enhancing SilverFort as a Barclays service, providing a unified identity platform.
- The SME will be the primary authority on SilverFort architecture, policy design and integration with other services, including escalated support and project enhancements and vendor liaison.
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of Access Management and IAM fundamentals, including PAM fundamentals and MFA.
- Deep understanding of SilverFort architecture, agentless MFA and its policies.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory and its protocols is essential: LDAP, Kerberos, NTLM and including RADIUS.
- Sufficient understanding of Network protocols, firewalls, proxies is essential.
- Experience or understanding of Azure and Entra ID desirable.
- EDR and XDR tooling knowledge experience is desirable.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability and liaison with support teams and stakeholders essential.
- Essential understanding of ITIL practices; Problem, Incident and Change management and a service mindset.
- Experience in creating technical and non-technical guides and artefacts for stakeholders is desirable.
- Experience in scripting (e.g. PowerShell) and understanding of APIs is desirable.
