We are seeking a highly experienced CCIE-certified Network Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Cisco ISE to support a large-scale network security deployment for a UK central government department. This is a project engineering role involved in the delivery and deployment of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) across a complex, secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the deployment of Cisco ISE across enterprise-scale infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure access policies and identity-based networking solutions.
- Assist in detailed technical design, implementation planning, and engineering execution.
- Provide expertise in troubleshooting, documentation, and technical leadership within project teams.
Essential Requirements:
- Cisco CCIE certification (current/valid).
- Passed Cisco ISE exam.
- Demonstrable experience in large-scale Cisco ISE deployments.
- Strong knowledge of secure network architectures, access control, and NAC policies.
- Ability to work on-site in central London as required.
- Valid UK passport and right to work in the UK.
This role falls inside IR35. Initial 6-month term, with potential for extension. Role to commence late July 2025. Maximum day rate: £580 per day (inside IR35).
