We're seeking an experienced DV Cleared Demand & Capacity Manager to support the delivery of critical Defence services within a secure MOD environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in Service Management who also has a solid understanding of technical infrastructure. You'll play a key role in ensuring demand is effectively forecast, prioritised, and aligned with available resources and service capability across a complex, business-critical environment.
Working from either Hampshire or Corsham, you'll collaborate with technical teams, delivery managers, service owners, and Defence stakeholders to ensure services remain resilient, scalable, and aligned with operational priorities.
The Role
As Demand & Capacity Manager, you will be responsible for managing demand across services and ensuring the right capacity is in place to support current and future requirements. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing demand and capacity planning across secure IT services.
- Working with service owners and technical teams to forecast resource and infrastructure requirements.
- Monitoring service performance, utilisation, and capacity trends.
- Supporting service management processes, governance, and continual service improvement.
- Identifying risks relating to capacity, performance, and service availability.
- Producing management information, reports, and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Working closely with project and operational teams to ensure future demand is understood and planned effectively.
Essential Experience
- Current DV (Developed Vetting) clearance.
- Previous MOD or Defence sector experience is essential.
- Strong background in IT Service Management.
- Experience in demand management, capacity management, or service planning.
- Good understanding of technical infrastructure, including servers, networks, hosting, or data centre environments (technical expertise is not required, but an appreciation of infrastructure is essential).
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience working within complex, secure IT environments.
