The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Net Box Platform, Data & Integration Contractor to help establish Net Box as the single source of truth for enterprise network data.
Lead the enhancement of a critical platform by driving automation, improving data quality, and integrating Net Box across the wider enterprise technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Review the existing network data landscape, data quality, and data flows.
- Assess and enhance the current Net Box implementation.
- Develop Net Box to support enterprise network inventory and lifecycle management.
- Design and implement automated discovery and data assurance capabilities.
- Define and maintain the Net Box data model to meet operational and business needs.
- Establish governance and processes to ensure Net Box remains the authoritative source of record.
- Build and enhance integrations with network management platforms, including Cisco Catalyst Centre.
- Develop integrations with Service Now to improve CMDB accuracy and synchronisation.
- Create supporting automation, technical documentation, and operational processes.
- Deliver knowledge transfer and recommendations for ongoing platform evolution.
- Key Skills & Experience
- Strong hands‑on experience administering and developing Net Box.
- Experience designing and implementing network data models and governance.
- Knowledge of network discovery, automation, and data assurance.
- Experience integrating Net Box with enterprise platforms such as Service Now.
- Familiarity with Cisco Catalyst Centre or similar network management platforms.
- Scripting and automation experience (Python and APIs desirable).
- Strong understanding of enterprise networking, IPAM, and CMDB concepts.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.
